One of the longest-running feuds in the world of professional wrestling is the war of words between ‘The Man‘ Ric Flair vs ‘The Man‘ Becky Lynch. It has been going on and on for over 2 years now. Every opportunity Ric Flair gets, he takes a shot at Becky Lynch. Even after Ric has been released from the company and WWE have banned Flair over his sexual assault allegations, he is still going after Becky Lynch.
What’s the beef between Ric Flair and Becky Lynch
Ric Flair is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He is a 16-time World Champion. But now he is tarnishing his own name by burying superstars on Twitter and filing lawsuits against the same company that made him who he is. It all started when Becky Lynch started to call herself ‘The Man‘. Ric Flair calls himself ‘The Man‘ among other names and so he took offence to Lynch being called by the same nickname. Flair took to Twitter to vent out his frustrations.

Becky’s response to it was simply “I am The Man“. Back then, Becky and Flair’s daughter, Charlotte were feuding with each other and so we can assume that Flair and Lynch were working an angle to build the feud between Lynch and his daughter. Very soon it was made clear that it was not just a work, Flair was legitimately upset over Lynch taking the nickname ‘The Man‘. Flair even went on to file a lawsuit over the nickname. The fans found it strange but the court did not, Flair won the lawsuit and so Lynch went on to choose a different name for herself. But the Nature Boy, was not done with Lynch. He was still attacking Lynch at every chance he got.
Ric Flair rains down on Becky Lynch for disrespecting Ronda Rousey
During his ‘Wooooo Nation Uncensored‘ podcast, Ric Flair took shots at Becky Lynch for calling Ronda Rousey ‘Ronnie‘.
“Once again, she is not ‘Ronnie,’ she is Ronda Rousey. And anybody who is stupid enough to call her ‘Ronnie’ and make a joke of her presence, what she brings to the company, is out of their mind, AKA – Big Time Becks. ‘Hey Ronnie, welcome back.’ That’s exciting, that’s really exciting. How about, ‘Thank you Ronda for showing up because I’m not The Man anymore, I’m generic, who am I, Big Time Becks, The Lasskicker, I have no idea.'”
Becky Lynch responded to this via Twitter.

Clearly, Lynch is trying to not take any interest in giving time for Ric Flair. Flair is trying to get relevant by using Becky Lynch’s name. It is funny how her daughter is facing Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania this year but still Flair shows interest only towards Becky Lynch. To keep it simple, Lynch is living inside Ric Flair’s head rent-free.
