It’s been a while since we have seen or heard from Bray Wyatt. The artist formerly known as The Fiend was released by WWE last July. It came as a shock to many people because he was one of the top stars of the wrestling promotion. His Fiend persona was a fan favorite and one of the major attractions in WWE.
However, since his release, it has been reported that Bray is currently working on a movie. Dave Meltzer pointed out that he was one of the top paid stars on the WWE roster and is under no financial pressure to come back to pro-wrestling. It’s been more than a year since we last saw the former WWE Champion wrestle but he looks to be in good spirit and in great shape. Wrestling News tweeted a photo of Bray Wyatt along with AEW ring announcer and actor Skylar Astin.

Bray Wyatt teases to speak out on his WWE release
Last October, Ringside News reported that a WWE Source has come forward to say this about Wyatt’s release from the company, “Not being an apologist or a WWE defender, just telling you like it is. If you were running a business, and Windham was on your payroll, you’d release him, too. Between his backstage antics and the way he handled himself when making millions and millions while medically flagged, he deserved to be released.”
Bray reacted to this with a GIF of The Rock and then said in a follow-up tweet: “Now that we have Johnny and Bruce’s opinion, I would like to share mine soon.”

“Johnny and Bruce” is referencing WWE executives John Laurinaitis and Bruce Prichard. Andrew Zarian then reported saying that WWE considered Wyatt ‘difficult’ on his Mat Men Wrestling Podcast there were issues with his weight along with issues with his performance in the ring.
With rumors floating around about Bray signing with AEW or Impact Wrestling, it might not be long before we hear his side of the story. Wherever his career takes him next, we cannot wait for his return to the wrestling ring.
