The latest pay-per-view event, Fastlane 2023 took place on October 7, 2023. The event kicked off with the match between Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes vs Finn Balor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day. It was a tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. However, the ending of the match was a surprising one.
The match began with both teams trying to take each other down. As Jey and Priest were fighting each other, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio came out. Ripley then came face to face with Jey in a motive to distract him. However, she couldn’t succeed in her attempt as the end result saw Cody and Jey defeating The Judgment Day.
With that, the team of Rhodes and Uso became the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. Meanwhile, it seems after Ripley’s failed attempt to distract Jey, fans hold Ripley responsible for Judgment Day’s loss at the event. One fan wrote, “Damn here come Rhea and Dom to ruin the fun.”

Several fans went on to accuse ‘The Eradicator’. Meanwhile, many expressed that they didn’t expect that Cody and Jey would win despite Rhea and Dominik’s interference. One fan wrote, “Didn’t think they were going to win. Especially when Rhea and Dom came out, I thought ‘oh here we go again.'”
However, in spite of every interference, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso showcased excellent teamwork. With that, they became the new champions. Now it remains to be seen if the new champs will have something to say regarding their extraordinary win.
Rhea Ripley is furious with The Judgment Day match result at WWE Fastlane 2023
The Judgment Day suffered a huge loss at the latest PPV event. While fans blame Rhea Ripley for the faction members’ loss at Fastlane, it seems The Eradicator is herself furious with the match result.
As soon as the match ended and WWE crowned new champions, Ripley expressed her anger. She took her ‘X’ handle to share a post by WWE that declared Cody and Jey as the new champions and captioned the post with “Livid.”

Ripley’s anger is justified since she tried to help her teammates but failed miserably. Meanwhile, it is to be noted that The Judgment Day lost a major set of titles at the event. Previously, all the members of the faction were reigning champions. However, as of now, Ripley is the Women’s World Champion and Dominik NXT North American Champion, but unfortunately, Balor and Priest are no longer champions.
Thus now it remains to be seen if Balor and Priest would fall victim to Ripley’s anger after their loss. However, it is also to be seen if similar to the fans, the faction members also blame Ripley for the loss. Fans would wait with high anticipation to see what lies ahead for the top faction of Monday Night RAW, after Fastlane 2023.
