Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson has made quite a name for himself in the acting industry after his famed WWE run, however, a controversial skit of the superstar has resurfaced on Twitter. In May 2017, Dwayne Johnson appeared on the Saturday Night Live (SNL) finale. He had become a ‘mad scientist’ in one of his skits where he was supposed to create an evil invention. The evil invention that Dwayne chose was quite offensive.
Dressed as mad scientists, the cast in the skit was expected to create the ‘most evil invention in the world’. One of the members offered to create a shrink ray and said the weapon would make the Eiffel Tower small enough to fit on a key chain. Another member invented a freeze gun.
Dwayne was third and fans could not have expected what he had on show for us. His invention was a “child molesting robot.” Dwayne is heard saying, “I invented a child-molesting robot… it’s powered by solar rechargeable cells and it costs pennies to manufacture, and it can molest twice as many children as a human…”
Yes, it was all just for fun, but many fans took the offensive side of it and were not happy to see Dwayne do this. On the other hand, in the present day, Dwayne has been caught up in a lawsuit. Trenesha Biggers, aka Rhaka Khan, has claimed in her lawsuit that the listed defendants, which included Dwayne among many other WWE superstars, conspired to kidnap the plaintiff and her children. She has claimed $3 billion in damages.
Dwayne Johnson disappointed fans with his controversial SNL skit
Fans were left unimpressed and disappointed with Dwayne for doing such comedy. One fan on Twitter wrote, “@TheRock why on Earth did you think this was OK to perform? As a parent yourself, I’m seriously disappointed in you. This was in no way funny, it was sick.”

How is that funny? Like even if he said something else it still wouldn’t be funny. That’s how you know they forced this “joke” in here talking about molesting children

On this episode of SNL, Dwayne even jokingly announced that he would run for President in 2020. He said, “Now, in the past, I never would’ve considered running for president. I mean, I didn’t think I was qualified at all, but now I’m actually worried that I’m too qualified.”
This was, however, taken seriously by people. He had to later announce that he is, in fact, not running for the post.
“Unfortunately I don’t see it happening in 2020. It’s a position that requires years of hard work and experience to learn the skills. There’s a lot of ground to cover, and due to my schedule, it’s not possible in 2020,” Dwayne said at the New York premiere of his movie, Skyscraper. “I have so much respect for the position. It’s something that I seriously considered. What I need is time to go out and learn.”
Dwayne was even rumored to run for President in 2024. However, that was shot down as well. If Dwayne ever does decide to run for President, a skit like his on SNL is bound to come back to haunt him.
