Ever since Bad Bunny burst onto the WWE scene, he continues to amaze the WWE Universe with his incredible performances inside the squared circle. The Puerto Rican musician made his first-ever WWE appearance at the Royal Rumble 2021, where he performed his hit song, “Booker T”. Later, he also showcased his in-ring abilities at WrestleMania 37 and since then Bad Bunny’s WWE appearances and matches have been well received.
Apart from being a celebrity wrestler, Bad Bunny is currently one of the biggest musicians in the world. Following his appearance at WrestleMania 39 as the guest Spanish commentator, WWE announced Bad Bunny as the host of Backlash 2023. The key reason for announcing the Latin rapper as the host was that he hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where the event was to take place.
However, weeks later, Bunny got involved in a feud against The Judgment Day and his former friend, Damian Priest. The feud eventually resulted in Bad Bunny challenging Priest to a San Juan street fight. While many believe the match did not have a proper build, it was definitely an attraction for the fans in Puerto Rico. As the match began, the crowd was fired up and Bunny tore the house down with his performance.
The bout had multiple interferences by members of The Judgment Day and LWO as expected. The amazing match also featured memorable moments and spots throughout its duration. One of the most iconic moments was the return of Carlito that fans absolutely loved. Following the chaos, Bad Bunny took out Damian with a jaw-dropping “Canadian Destroyer”.

While on commentary, Michael Cole referred to the move as the “Bunny Destroyer”. The picture-perfect move was also the finishing moment of the match, as Bunny emerged victorious.
Wrestling Twitter is bewildered with the amazing athleticism of Bad Bunny
Ever since making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, Bad Bunny has continued his dedication whenever he competes. Moreover, the Canadian Destroyer at Backlash was the third perfect execution by him in his wrestling career. Fans on Twitter also reacted to Bunny’s athleticism and dedication to professional wrestling.

Overall, it was yet another showcase of Bad Bunny’s abilities inside the squared circle like multiple times before. It also shows his love and dedication to wrestling. Furthermore, fans could expect more appearances and matches in the future from the rapper and musician from San Juan Puerto Rico. Hence, it remains to be seen what WWE has in store for Bad Bunny in the future.
