WWE is struggling due to a wave of injuries. Multiple superstars are out of action for quite some time now. Randy Orton has been off TV following a back injury for over a year. Former WWE champion, Big E is also sidelined for a long time after a neck injury. Earlier this year, Kofi Kingston suffered an ankle injury and is out. Now, unfortunately, Braun Strowman also joined the list as well.
The former Universal champion made his return last year, months after being released. He had a decent run since then. However, Strowman suffered a vertebrae injury a month ago due to which he had to undergo fusion surgery. And the date of his comeback remains uncertain, as the road to recovery could be longer than expected. The Monster of all Monsters also revealed a glimpse of his fusion surgery.
Viewer discretion!! Gets a lil intense.

Furthermore, prior to his hiatus from WWE, Braun Strowman made a shocking revelation about his leg being paralyzed. And how he had to switch to different shoes due to paralysis in an interview with Fightful. “You just never know. My feet are really weird. So my right arch is collapsed on my right foot, and my left leg is 15% paralyzed. So I switched to these new shoes,” Strowman disclosed.
“It’s a U.K. brand called [Vivobarefoot] that is actually helping me strengthen my feet. I feel bad cheating on my Crocs, but I still got my Crocs. I wear those around the house. These are more business casual. They tell me I’m supposed to dress up. This is as good as I can get,” he further added. Moreover, It is still obscure what caused the partial paralysis in his left leg.
Update on the WWE return of Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman was last seen inside a WWE ring on the May 1st, 2023 edition of RAW. He competed in a tag team match alongside his partner Ricochet against the Alpha Academy. However, Strowman reportedly suffered a concussion on SmackDown in April during a match against The Viking Raiders. After undergoing the surgery, Strowman informed everyone about the successful surgery.

And since his hiatus, fans have been waiting for an update on The Monster of all Monsters’ comeback. Recently, PWInsider provided an update on the possibility of his return. The report stated, “Braun Strowman was released from the hospital yesterday following his neck fusion surgery, PWInsider.com can confirm. There is no official word on his recovery or expected return to the ring, but it is not believed to be anytime in the near future”.
The report also revealed that Strowman has been moved to the internal injury list of the company. And has been off the board from creative pitches even before the surgery. If the reports are to be believed the road to recovery could be longer than expected for The Monster of all Monsters. Nevertheless, he could surprise the fans with an earlier-than-expected comeback.
