After losing to Rhea Ripley and Bayley on “RAW” last week, Asuka has been tweeting cryptic messages, leading some fans to wonder if she is quitting the WWE. Asuka has been posting pictures of her from her days in Japan where she had a darker, grittier gimmick.

The veteran WWE superstar has hinted at returning to her former gimmick, the murder clown Kana, from her days on the Japanese independent circuit, in a string of tweets over the previous few days. Asuka tweeted a fresh look and darker-than-usual gimmick. This includes phrases like “goodbye cruel world” and “the world is full of shit.”

Asuka was at it again on Wednesday, sparking controversy with a short clip of herself with Kana paint and a passage from Mozart’s Queen of the Night aria.

With her current losing streak, it’s very probable that WWE creative is building her for a character alter. Since her time as one-half of The Kabuki Warriors with Kairi Sane, Asuka has not played a heel in the WWE. The WWE Universe may not be prepared to watch the brutality that Kana will bring, so we’ll have to wait and see if Asuka decides to bring back Kana.
Can Asuka join Bray Wyatt with her new character?
On social media, Asuka has posted multiple images of her with cryptic messages. She has been through a transition of sorts. The possibility of Asuka reviving her ‘KANA’ persona and working with Bray Wyatt is being raised by fans and WWE fans.

On Twitter, a fan noted that she could frequently be spotted close by Wyatt’s sign when it appeared behind Alexa. Asuka made her debut years ago using the alias Kana. Kana wore horrific face paint to frighten the opposition during one of her runs as a prominent heel character in her days of Indie-wrestling.
Bliss got involved in a story with Wyatt that didn’t turn out well. There have been hints that Wyatt will win Alexa Bliss back ever since he came home. However, Asuka would add an interesting twist to the situation. The women’s division currently lacks compelling storylines, therefore combining the male and female roasters in one engaging storyline could enhance both divisions.
There is a tonne of talent in the WWE women’s division. Finding ways to include these women outside of the title picture is essential. Making a story between Asuka and Bliss in which ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ adopts evil alongside Bray Wyatt is a fresh move that would give fans something to look forward to with all the wrestlers’ personas.
