While nothing was revealed during the episode, WWE has now broken the news that the Prizefighter has been injured.
Kevin Owens faced Grayson Waller this Friday Night SmackDown. During the match, Waller took multiple shots at Owens’ hand. Despite being in pain, Kevin Owens managed to continue the match. Eventually, he managed to call the match in his favor after he pinned Grayson Waller with a schoolboy pin.

WWE broke the news of Kevin Owens’ injury on X. They revealed that Kevin Owens “has sustained an injury, fracturing his 4th and 5th metacarpal during #SmackDown last night.” The update came after the team showed Owens heading towards the X-ray room.

The injury came at a very inappropriate time leaving everyone with the impression that the injury is legitimate. A very worthy contender for Logan Paul’s WWE United States Championship, Owens is now on the backseat for the opportunity. The recent edition of SmackDown witnessed Owens taking digs at Logan Paul and thus confident enough to take the title from him.
Who might replace Kevin Owens in the race for the United States Championship?
Kevin Owens had been in the race to challenge Logan Paul for his WWE US Championship. However, his injury will now sideline him for at least a month. Now with this, there are a few names who can replace the Prizefighter. Montez Ford is a star who has shown great athletic skills in the ring.
