Apart from being one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time, John Cena is a successful Hollywood figure. After slowly transitioning into a part-timer in WWE after 2017, the Cenation Leader unlocked new heights of recognition under the bright lights of Hollywood. These days, he barely gets time for himself.
The Franchise Player is as firm as one gets over his will to not have kids at the moment. However, he really has a definitive reason for it. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show while promoting Suicide Squad 2, the former Face of WWE reiterated why he’s not ready for fatherhood just yet.

Cena exclaimed how he still aspires to accomplish many undiscovered things in life. As a known fact, he’s in that Dwayne Johnson phase right now for a wrestler-turned-actor tag. The 46-year-old WWE legend recently competed at WrestleMania this year amidst a movie commitment.
“I really enjoy my life. I have been riding a lightning bolt for quite some time now. I have been given opportunities to do and see things that man, I didn’t even dream of and I had some pretty lofty dreams. It’s hard work. It’s hard work to balance the time, I need to run myself correctly,” he said.
With so much on the plate and supposedly that projection yet to attain its peak, John Cena doesn’t want to have children just for the sake of it. He wants to avoid being an absent parent.
Nikki Bella broke up with John Cena because of kids
As is known, John Cena & Nikki Bella were engaged for quite some time. However, they couldn’t get along on their vision of starting parenthood. While Bella wasn’t actively competing as a wrestler, the Peacemaker star started indulging his already-occupied self in miscellaneous ventures outside of WWE.

In her memoir titled “Incomparable”, the longest reigning Divas Champion expressed what the world seemed like for her after suppressing her powerful desires for motherhood. “I stopped giving voice to those needs, though. I was worried my ex would call it off and let me go. And while I wanted those things very badly. I just wanted him more”, said Bella.
Even after separating over their conflicting stances on the most important phase of their relationships, Cena and Bella promised to stay friends. At present, Nikki is happily married to Russian dancer Artem Chigvintsev and has a 2-year-old son named Matteo. Also, there has been no change in John Cena’s desire for kids. He continues to work for his dreams alongside his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh.
