SUMMARY
- Drew McIntyre is now officially in the WrestleMania 40 main event by winning the Elimination Chamber match.
- Before Drew win, there was a lot of drama throughout the match as interferences were made in the bout.
WWE has been doing a tremendous job of building up for WrestleMania 40, and their Elimination Chamber PLE was the latest development on the road to the event. It was a star studded event, with superstars like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre making their presence felt on the show in Australia.
Among all the matches on the card, the one match everyone was looking forward to was the men’s elimination chamber match, and it delivered. After all the entrants entered the chamber, Bobby Lashley became the first participant to get eliminated, as Drew pinned him.
But the next elimination shocked the entire audience, as AJ Styles came out of nowhere to cost LA Knight. After this, the fan-loved star got eliminated at the hands of The Scottish Warrior. Following this, Randy showed his class, and got rid of Kevin Owens and Logan Paul, as Orton and McIntyre had their eyes set on the main event of WrestleMania 2024.

Everyone was expecting them to tear the house down, but in an unexpected turn of events, The Maverick knocked out The Viper with a brassknuckle. This interference by Logan helped Drew pin the 14-time WWE Champion, and he eventually booked his ticket to WrestleMania 40’s main event for a match with Seth Rollins.
Fans react to Drew McIntyre’s Elimination Chamber victory
As fans got to witness numerous memorable moments throughout this match, they were pretty happy. But the way McIntyre won it at the end left them a bit disappointed. Due to this, a lot of fans from the pro wrestling community have been sharing their disappointment over the finish of the high-profile match.
Lashing out at the company for the finish of the Elimination Chamber match, a WWE universe member wrote, “That was a shit ending.” “Drew already lost to Seth so many times,” another pro wrestling fan commented while mocking The Scottish Warrior for his losses to The Visionary.
Looking at these comments, it seems like fans weren’t expecting WWE to end the match like this. But as it’s what the Triple H-led promotion actually did, it now remains to be seen how the build-up to Drew’s WrestleMania 40 match is going to be. Whatever the organization decides to do, the road to WrestleMania is surely going to be a really memorable one.
