- Even since his return, the veteran has been working alongside The Judgment Day.
Ever since R-Truth made his WWE return at Survivor Series, he has been absolutely spectacular. Following his comeback to the promotion, the veteran has been working alongside The Judgment Day, and the pairing has given the audience a lot of entertainment in recent weeks.
Ron Killings has just been amazing in his role with the stable, and that’s why he has been receiving immense praise from fans. In fact, a lot of people believe that his ongoing run is one of his best ones in recent memory, and that’s quite true. While the storyline has been really great, one thing everyone questions is whose idea it was, and the answer to this speculation was given by Truth himself.
This happened during the 51-year-old’s recent appearance on BustedOpenRadio, as he discussed his current onscreen run. As the host asked him if there was any sort of discussion about him being in the stable, the WWE legend shared that it was Damian Priest who wanted him to be working alongside The Judgment Day.

The veteran pro wrestler said, “He actually went to, I think it was Hunter [Triple H] and the writers. Damian Priest fought for it.” In addition to this, the 6-foot-2 expressed his happiness about getting the opportunity to be back on TV after being away from the Stamford-based promotion for a long time.
The way the organization has handled Ron since his return, it’s safe to say that his return has been worthy. Moreover, the way the WWE universe chants for him shows how well the veteran has been and that the idea of his pairing with The Judgment Day is actually doing wonders.
R-Truth recently became the highest merchandise seller in WWE
While the 51-year-old’s association with The Judgment Day has given fans a lot of entertainment in recent weeks, it has also resulted in massive profits for the WWE. In fact, R-Truth recently overshadowed all the top stars to become the highest merchandise seller in the Triple H-led promotion.
Leaving behind The Straight Edge Superstar’s return t-shirt in third place, Truth has secured the first and second positions on the list of most-selling merchandise. Killings & Judgment Day’s standard merchandise is topping the charts, whereas their live, laugh, and love t-shirt is positioned second on the list.
The top selling t-shirts on WWE Shop (Jan 12):

2: R-Truth & Judgment Day (Live, Laugh, Love)
3: CM Punk (Return)
4: CM Punk (Hell Froze Over)
5: Jey Uso (Yeet, Black)
6: Roman Reigns (Levels Above)
7: Randy Orton (Strike First)
8: Rhea Ripley… pic.twitter.com/46OhPzL5nS— Wrestle Features (@WrestleFeatures) January 12, 2024
Even though this might look surprising, R-Truth is truly reigning at the top in this aspect, and that’s an indication how great his recent return has been. It initially seemed like a short-term storyline, but due to the response this Judgment Day idea has received, it looks like we’ll continue to get this entertainment, at least for the next few weeks. It remains to be seen what twists and turns Truth’s association with the stable takes now.
