In a superkick heard around the world, Jimmy Uso finally snapped on Bloodline patriarch Roman Reigns at WWE Night of Champions. In a shocking turn of events, The Usos showed up during the main event when Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa battled for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Despite being asked to stay away from the event, the twins ended up super-kicking Solo Sikoa.
The ensuing series of events saw an irate Reigns confront Jey and Jimmy Uso, only for the latter to hit a devastating superkick on his Tribal Chief. Jey was flabbergasted at what happened as Jimmy tried to explain to him that it needed to be done earlier, referring to their feud in 2020. As a reeling Roman tried to comprehend what had just happened, The Usos left, ultimately leading to a loss for The Bloodline.

This has, in turn, led to theories and speculation as to what finally led to Jimmy Uso turning on The Bloodline. The initial cracks started to show when Jey Uso refused to attack Sami Zayn at Royal Rumble this year. Jey returned after his antics at the Rumble only because he felt a threat to his brother. However, things went downhill when they lost the Undisputed Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania.
After failing to win them back at a later episode of SmackDown, Roman Reigns’ abuse and indignant attitude towards Jimmy and Jey worsened. He even shoved Jimmy during a segment and told them that were a disgrace to the family. However, he added that The Usos needed to stay in line and obey Reigns.

On the final episode of SmackDown before the event, Jimmy refused to hand over the tag titles to Reigns and also did not put up his hand during the signature Bloodline hand gesture.
Jimmy has likely grown tired of Roman Reigns’ abuse towards him and his brother and has decided that enough is enough. There are also rumors doing the rounds that Reigns will likely face one of the Usos at Money in the Bank or Summerslam, and this could also be a reason for the betrayal.
