When The Tribal Chief delivers his sermons, it is customary for you to shut up and witness his greatness. Roman Reigns has been on the run of a lifetime since turning heel, all the way back in 2020. Every promo he has cut after aligning with Paul Heyman has been verbal gold; and during the main event of last Friday’s Smackdown, he delivered what is possibly his greatest promo in WWE.

Reigns has been Universal Champion for 547+ days
It’s hard to imagine that the WWE Universe once wanted nothing to do with the young Samoan. We all remember the Roman’s first push as the perennial blue-collar babyface. We remember the 2015 Royal Rumble, the sufferin succotash promo, the time Roman absolutely froze when John Cena ripped him a new one.
And it is precisely because we remember those things that his current run is so satisfying for every Sports Entertainment fan. Reigns has been THE Guy in WWE since he won the Universal Championship; and he’s got the chops to deliver on the mic, too. Gone are the days of scripted verbal spars and mixing up words mid-promo. The Head of the Table stacks his opponents up in one address, and knocks it out of the park like it’s missionary on a Sunday night. His warning to Brock Lesnar wasn’t any less G-rated, either.
Reigns says he will “smash” Lesnar at WrestleMania 38
Roman Reigns has been promising to smash, stack and beat his opponents for almost 2 years; and so far, he has delivered on his word. John Cena, Edge, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, his own cousin Jey Uso; heck, even Brock Lesnar has had to acknowledge the greatness of the Tribal Chief.
The Contract Signing segment for the Main Event of WrestleMania 38 Night 2 saw Reigns lay claim to everything we already knew was his; with the added caveat of pissing off an already-angry Brock Lesnar. The Tribal Chief went off on the Beast Incarnate and promised to “smash him” come ‘Mania and take the title that rightfully belongs to him.
This Roman Reigns is completely unrecognizable from Roman Reigns 3 years ago. Turning him heel was the best decision that WWE has made in the last decade pic.twitter.com/YZdES2CQsN

We haven’t seen Reigns this hyped while delivering a promo, ever. Hershey, Pennsylvania came unglued as Roman listed off his accomplishments in WWE, and who can deny him? Roman Reigns has the entire WWE Universe eating out of his hands; and it looks like he’s going to graduate from dominating just Friday Nights, after he unifies WWE’s top titles at ‘Mania 38.
