Even though Randy Orton, LA Knight, and Styles had their moments in the fatal four-way, the finish was somewhat predictable. With this win at Royal Rumble, The Head Of the Table looks set to enter WrestleMania as the Undisputed Universal Champion, but fans aren’t really impressed with the promotion for this.
The WWE Universe isn’t really happy with Roman Reigns’ victory at Royal Rumble
As fans were disappointed by the predictable finish to Roman Reigns’ match at Royal Rumble, they showcased it on social media. Sharing how The Tribal Chief’s bouts aren’t that exciting, a member of the WWE universe wrote, “I don’t care about Roman’s matches. Boring and predictable.” (Via: X)
Another wrestling enthusiast commented after the match, “Oh look, another predictable Roman Reigns match!” Such comments definitely show why the WWE universe isn’t really satisfied with the way Roman’s title reign has been handled and how he always comes out on top.
What’s next for Roman Reigns after his win at Royal Rumble 2024?
With Roman Reigns’ victory at Royal Rumble 2024, the biggest question in every pro wrestling enthusiast’s mind is what WWE has in store for him. In fact, a lot of people have been wondering when they’ll get to see The Tribal Chief in in-ring action again and who’ll he fight.
To answer the first, the Triple H-led promotion is set to go to Australia for the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE, but Reigns isn’t expected to travel. The Bloodline Leader is not being advertised for the February 24 event, and it might be an indication that Roman will now be fighting a match directly at WrestleMania 40.
As far as his opponent for this year’s WrestleMania is concerned, Cody Rhodes and Dwayne Johnson are the rumored pro wrestling figures. Since Reigns defeated The American Nightmare at The Show of Shows in 2023, it was speculated that they’d be fighting again in April 2024, but The Rock is now a major contender to fight his cousin at WrestleMania 2024.
Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania opponent is expected to be either The Rock or Cody Rhodes, or it could be a triple threat.

In addition to this, there have been rumors that WWE might be booking a triple-threat involving Cody, Dwayne, and Roman. If that’s really the case, it’ll be interesting to see how the Triple H-led promotion books this high-profile encounter. It also remains to be seen who’ll walk out as the company’s Undisputed Universal Champion from WrestleMania 40.
