WWE Royal Rumble 2022 was full of surprises, high-octane matches, and returns. However, one thing WWE did not expect was the WrestleMania 38 sign catching on fire!
The incident took place minutes after the Women’s Royal Rumble match. As Ronda Rousey climbed up on the second rope and pointed towards the WrestleMania sign, the pyrotechnics went off. Moments later a fan noticed sparks flying off the WrestleMania sign!

What happened next with WrestleMania sign?
The sign appeared to start melting due to the fire. WWE had to evacuate the fans seated below the sign. WWE then brought the sign down while it was still burning in an attempt to fix it. “A section had to be evacuated after pyro set the WrestleMania sign on fire,” said wrestling commentator Bryan Alvarez.
