After years of continued glory and untanned success, it seems like Dwayne Johnson is finally getting into the mudholes of controversy. As previously revealed, the Black Adam star has been sued by former WWE Superstar Rhaka Khan aka Trenesha Biggers. The allegations are made on the grounds of leading a kidnapping conspiracy against the female wrestler and her children.
Although the case was initially filed in October last year, it gained steam most recently. Among the shocking names being dragged out in the $3 billion lawsuit, she’s claimed NBA great Michael Jordan as one of the culprits too. What happens to the latter remains to be seen. However, the ramifications of the aforementioned lawsuit have struck Dwayne Johnson in a serious way.
It’s been widely reported that as a result of the recent havoc, Disney has parted ways with the 51-year-old former WWE Superstar. This came after Johnson was almost certain to replace Johnny Depp in the upcoming part of Pirates of the Caribbean. As known, Depp starred as Captain Jack in the previous 5 editions of Pirates of the Caribbean movies between 2003-2017. However, before the sixth part could meet its start date, Depp landed himself in a controversy of his own.
After being accused of domestic violence by his wife Amber Heard, Johnny got shelved by the franchise. However, the court adjudged Mr. Depp not guilty of the allegations leveled by his better half. Despite the fact that he’s come out clean through everything, Disney announced that the 59-year-old wouldn’t be making a return to the franchise. After this, the speculation about his potential replacement went rampant, with The Great One‘s name being thrown most heavily into the fold.
Fans are convinced about Disney’s real reason behind cutting ties with Dwayne Johnson
Following Johnny Depp’s clean sheet against Amber Heard, fans thought that he’d receive a call to return to the franchise. The recent rumors of Disney getting away from Dwayne Johnson also perfectly aligned the stars for an unprecedented swap. However, following the $3 billion lawsuit filed against the Jumanji star, fans are certain about the actual reason behind Johnson’s detachment from landing as the next Captain Jack.
Yeah, I’m sure that’s why Disney isn’t making him the next Captain Jack and it has nothing to do with Depp coming out looking good after his court thing with Heard.https://t.co/8TszuENlrJ

Disney fired Johnny Depp for accusations too. This is what happens when you allow a soulless corporation to embrace woke and push political narratives. #MeToo #timesup

It also seems like most of the fanbase is clamoring for Johnny Depp’s return to continue his tradition as Captain Jack. Some even claimed that if Disney was considering Dwayne Johnson as the ultimate replacement for the role Depp played for five consecutive parts of Pirates of the Caribbean, they had no idea what they were doing.
