The WWE has fired Bobby Lashley. After Lashley’s defeat to Seth Rollins in a #1 contender’s match for the US Championship on WWE Monday Night Raw. Later, Lashley confronted the referee and unintentionally knocked the official who was approaching from behind.

After unintentionally spearing producer Petey Williams last week, Bobby Lashley received a stern warning not to confront WWE officials. However, after losing the match for the #1 contender spot for the United States Championship this week on RAW, Lashley elbowed a referee who attempted to take him off another official.
Due to the referee’s injured leg, Lashley’s pinfall count was delayed, angering the former US Champion. The referee, though, was in the ideal place to spot Rollins’ pin after he successfully countered a second spear with a pedigree.
In an assertive attempt to confront Lashley, Adam Pearce was shoved, and as RAW came to a close, he immediately fired the former WWE Champion. Because we have never witnessed a wrestler touch an official before. Or, we’ve observed it, but they’ve always experienced severe repercussions.
This storyline with the potential to keep Lashley off for a couple of weeks before bringing him back for the lead-up to WrestleMania. Lesnar vs. Lashley at Wrestlemania 39 is reportedly being discussed internally in WWE.

On RAW this week, Adam Pearce took a radical step to fire Bobby Lashley after being pushed by the former US Champion. Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley, the main event of the program, decided who would be the #1 contender for the United States Championship.

In spite of Adam Pearce’s warning from the previous week, Lashley attacked a WWE official once more after Rollins’ victory. Pearce was assaulted when he approached the All-Mighty and used the curse word “motherf***er” before informing Lashley that he had been fired.

Fans feel that the decision was pretty harsh but, it has been speculated that it was made to write Bobby off the TV. Bobby Lashley might face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 39 and the firing might be just a setup for the third match between the two powerhouses.

Lashley and Lesnar have faced each other twice with 1 win each, the “Grandest Stage of All” would be the perfect place for the final chapter of this dream feud and would draw a lot of viewers. The WM39 might just turn out to be the best Mania in history, let’s see how WWE approaches it.
