William Regal makes an appearance on AEW Dynamite via a prerecorded promo
On Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone and William Regal appeared in a pre-recorded promo to discuss why William Regal turned on Jon Moxley at Full Gear last month. Tony Schiavone revealed that he had taped an interview with William Regal two weeks prior to MJF attacking him on last week’s Dynamite after Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta defeated Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
“I realized a few months ago that the core Blackpool Combat Club members didn’t need me around anymore,” Regal said. When asked why Regal turned on Jon Moxley and decided to work with MJF at Full Gear, Regal responded, “The reason I did what I did was to teach you the final thing I could ever teach you – always stay one step ahead and make sure you keep your eyes on the back of your head.”
Regal also said that he is Blackpoll Combat Club for life and made an exit. Fans have speculated that this could mean an end to the stable or possibly a name change. Let’s see what the future holds for the BCC in future.
