“You are a sniveling, little, suck-up, sellout, full of sufferin’ succotash, son!” It’s hard to think today that Roman Reigns once uttered these words. The Tribal Chief has improved by lightyears on the stick since 2015, and is one of the most-consistent (and scathing) promos on WWE today. You better believe that if Reigns has his sights set on you, you’re about to get a verbal beatdown that will be eerily similar to visiting the Smackdown Hotel on Friday Nights. And now, he has gone after Wrestling Internet’s Favorite Thing: Cowboy Brock Lesnar.
Reigns has been on a collision course with Lesnar since SummerSlam 2021
The New Brock Lesnar has been a breath of fresh air; so much so that it has somehow gotten him even more over with the crowd than he already was! He has proven, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he does not need Paul Heyman to do his talking for him.
Roman Reigns has had some rather public blunders on the microphone before, but all the naysayers of yesteryear are bowing down to every word that the Head of the Table utters these days. His promo before WrestleMania 37 is one of his all-time best performances as a top-tier trash-talker in the WWE, but last night’s contract signing segment might have given us the new Best Roman Reigns Promo of All-Time.
The Tribal Chief was fired up during last night’s episode of Smackdown
The moment this segment was announced, we knew it would be a spectacle. Brock Lesnar turned up rocking his cowboy swag and promised to beat up Reigns- and Heyman- at WrestleMania 38, which leads us to believe that the match might have some kind of stipulation added to it. The crowd was loving Lesnar’s fiery promo before the Tribal Chief put him in his place. Calling Lesnar a “farm boy”, he went on the remind The Beast Incarnate just who runs WWE.

The cameramen? They worked for Reigns. The announcers? They worked for Reigns. The security? They worked for Reigns. The rabid crowd in Hershey, Pennsylvania acknowledged their Tribal Chief as he listed off his accomplishments before Lesnar finally brought the segment to an end by giving Reigns’ hired security the beat down of a lifetime.

WrestleMania 38 is still 5 weeks away, giving us plenty of time to build up to a no-holds barred blow-off match to one of the greatest, most-confusing feuds of the Modern Era of WWE. Here’s hoping they take our suggestion into consideration.
