AustinTheory has been in cahoots with Vince McMahon for a while now. An interesting story is revolving around the two of them currently. On multiple occasions, McMahon has said that he sees a little bit of himself in Austin Theory. The fans speculated that this Story would culminate with Austin Theory wrestling Shane McMahon at WrestleMania. Given that now Shane is no longer with the company, it makes perfect sense for the Chairman of the board to have a match against the upcoming star. Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why Austin Theory versus Vince McMahon is a good idea.
Making History
Both Vince McMahon and Austin Theory will be part of history if this match takes place. Vince will not only be wrestling for the first time in nearly 10 years, but he will also be the oldest wrestler to compete at WrestleMania. The last time Vince wrestled, was against CM Punk back in 2012. Austin Theory is the youngest to compete at WrestleMania and now will be facing the oldest person to compete at the grandest stage.
A big boost for Austin Theory’s career
Austin Theory is just 24 years old and has caught the eye of the authority figures and especially Vince McMahon. The Chairman has high hopes for Theory. The right decision is to make Theory get the win. A young and upcoming star defeating the Chairman of the Board at WrestleMania will boost his career. This will put Theory in the Main Event picture. Austin Theory needs the win and at the same time, he needs to move away from McMahon and stand on his own two feet.
The perfect end
This storyline between Austin Theory and Vince McMahon has been going on and on since Survivor Series. It all started with the ‘Cleopatra’s Egg‘ that apparently Theory stole. Since then, Vince has appreciated Theory and as well as slapped the taste out of his mouth. Austin has always tried to impress Vince. It’s about time that Austin realises he has done everything for getting Vince’s approval but still Vince isn’t satisfied. It makes sense for Austin to challenge a bigger and tougher opponent for him to face at WrestleMania. But it also seems right for Theory to challenge Vince (no one has the audacity to challenge the Boss). Theory wins, impresses Vince and the story ends at the Grandest Stage with the Chairman raising Theory’s hands in victory.
