5. Ronda Rousey still needs to refine her mic skills
It is a known fact that former Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is not good with promos. She has forgotten many lines during her promo segments. She mostly delivers promos in her ordinary voice, lacking the charisma that wrestlers are known for.
Ronda Rousey didn’t have proper promo training when she debuted in 2018. It is surprising to see that WWE is still not convinced that the UFC Hall of Famer requires a manager to put her over as a credible contender in the women’s division.
4. Rousey has botched several TV segments
WWE are always ahead of the game when it comes to editing wrestlers’ botches and mistakes. One such botch by Ronda Rousey was removed from SmackDown replays. During her feud with Charlotte Flair, Rousey accidentally called herself the “SmackDown Champion” and omitted the “Women’s” word.

She later tried to cover up by adding that WWE should avoid the “Women’s.” But WWE already took the damage. Later, WWE posted an edited version of the promo segment on Twitter.
3. Ronda Rousey is unable to come across as a compelling babyface
Ronda Rousey is a mixed martial arts legend. She is a former UFC Champion, and an Olympics medalist; the only one on the current WWE Women’s roster. However, her run as a babyface hasn’t been convincing, and fans have not forgotten the fact that she talked ill about the WWE Universe during her hiatus.
Ronda Rousey has been portrayed as an underdog babyface. But given her history with combat sports, she should be a menacing heel. Her previous role as a heel during the three-way feud with Becky Lynch and Charlotte was much more appreciated by fans as she got to show her rougher side.
2. Missing spots during matches
While Ronda Rousey is a tremendous athlete, she still hasn’t grasped the ability to tell a story through a wrestling match. She even forgets spots during her matches. Ronda Rousey has admitted to the fact that she forgot parts of her match with Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38.

Rousey is relatively new to world of pro-wrestling. And she has openly admitted that she is always dependent on opponents during her matches.
1. Rousey Rousey lacks charisma
Ronda Rousey’s transition to wrestling from MMA hasn’t been smooth. She still lacks the charisma required to establish herself as the main draw. Fans have noticed this and appear to be uninterested whenever she pops up for a segment.
WWE had high hope with the former Women’s Champion. But recently they appear to have dropped the ball after she was booked to lose the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. She still has a main-event spot on Friday nights. But it would be interesting to see if she can learn from her mistakes to become as dominant as Brock Lesnar in WWE.
