Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming since his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. He has been enjoying his time off with the Bearded Butchers while reportedly healing from an injury.

The Beast Incarnate could make his return at WrestleMania Backlash. Here are a few reasons why.
5. Brock Lesnar has been advertised for WrestleMania Backlash
Brock Lesnar was first advertised for the WrestleMania Backlash premium live event back in February 2022. He was also advertised for the Money in the Bank event too.

WWE has reportedly removed him from the listings since there were no words on his next feud. But the former WWE Champion could be back for a new high-profile storyline.
4. Lesnar will renew his rivalry with Roman Reigns
Rumors have speculated that Brock Lesnar could return to challenge Roman Reigns for a title rematch in the not-so-distant future. This could make the Tribal Chief look more dominant if WWE decides to let Reigns grab the win.
WWE hasn’t revealed Roman Reigns’ next opponent, and instead, booked him in a 6-man tag team match at WrestleMania Backlash. WWE may take the opportunity to bring back his previous rival since they have done it before.
3. Renewed feud with Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar had put on a great show at Royal Rumble earlier this year. The match saw a faulty ending to further the storyline between Reigns and Lesnar.
Lashley won the match after Reigns interfered to attack the Beast. The Almighty is already scheduled to take on Omos in the upcoming premium live event.
But a match between Lashley and Lesnar could help the former establish his position as one of the most dominant and strong competitors in the current WWE roster. Maybe this time he will interfere and cost Lashley the match.
2. WrestleMania Backlash card is not looking strong
WWE has so far announced only one Championship match for the upcoming premium live event, i.e. the SmackDown Women’s Championship. It will be the first pay-per-view without a match for the top prize in WWE.
Is it me, or is the #WrestleManiaBacklash card a bit underwhelming? This doesn’t feel special, nothing is really catching my eye. If anything, this feels like a good episode of #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/6iFdr3H9Hr

WWE put on a great WrestleMania last month. It was one of the best editions of the show in recent memory. WWE could be looking to brew the seeds for a big segment for a new rivalry at WrestleMania Backlash due to its weak match card. It is quite possible that a big star could return, i.e. Brock Lesnar.
1. Brock Lesnar is still under contract with WWE
Lesnar had signed an 18-month deal with WWE around the time of SummerSlam 2021. His previous contracts usually expired during the month of April, mostly after ‘Mania.
His current contract is expected to last until WrestleMania 39. Since he is a star attraction, WWE could look to bring him back at the upcoming live event.
It is up to Vince McMahon whether he wants to bring back the Beast Incarnate for a new high-profile program. What are your thoughts about Brock Lesnar’s WWE return? Drop your comments below.
