WrestleMania 40 is fast approaching, and it is all set to take place on April 6 and 7, 2024. Meanwhile, several matches have been announced for the Premium Live Event. Also, almost all the top-level superstars will be a part of the event. This includes Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and more.
Moreover, Roman, Cody, and Seth will be a part of both Nights of WrestleMania. On Night 1 of the PPV event, a tag team match has been scheduled between The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. On the other hand, on Night 2 of the PLE, Rollins is all set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.
While Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Rhodes. Also, a stipulation has been added to the tag team match on Night 1. According to that, if Cody and Seth win the match, then all the members of The Bloodline will be barred from the ringside during the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match on Night 2.
However, if The Rock and Reigns win, then the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match on Night 2 will take place under Bloodline Rules. The history between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes
Previously, Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. At the Premium Live Event, Rhodes faced Seth Rollins as his first opponent upon his return. With that, the outcome of the match saw The American Nightmare defeat The Visionary. This led to a feud between the two Superstars.
The duo once again faced each other at the WrestleMania Backlash. At the PPV event, Seth was defeated by Cody for the second time. However, that did not put an end to their feud. They kept taking shots at each other. Finally, they once again faced each other at the 2022 Hell in a Cell PPV event in a namesake match.
With that, the final outcome of the match saw The Visionary lose to The American Nightmare for the third time. This eventually marked the end of their long-stretched feud. Thus, it can be understood that Rollins might have some unfinished business with Rhodes since he was defeated by Cody not once but three times.
Thus, Rollins might plan to exact revenge against Rhodes during WrestleMania 40. During the tag team match between The Bloodline vs. Cody and Seth, the latter might turn on The American Nightmare, thus costing him the match. This might also renew their feud from the past. Cody Rhodes has stolen Seth Rollins’ spotlight
Previously, Seth Rollins became a part of WWE in 2010. Thereafter, he began performing in the NXT brand division and became the inaugural NXT Champion. Moving ahead, he made his main roster debut at the 2012 Survivor Series.
Thereafter, Rollins, along with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, became part of a stable named The Shield. Following that, they participated in several storylines and feuds. However, later, the faction disbanded, and Rollins embarked on his singles run. He presented an astonishing singles run and bagged many championships.
On the other hand, Cody Rhodes became a part of the Stamford-based promotion in 2006. Thereafter, he became a part of OVW and soon emerged as a Triple Crown champion. Moving ahead, in 2007, he was promoted to the main roster. He then participated in many feuds and matches.
However, he left WWE in 2016, and later on, he wrestled on the Independent Circuit. Moving forward, in January 2019, he became. Member of AEW’s roster and also became the promotion’s executive vice president. But, in February 2022, he announced his departure from the Tony Khan-led promotion. With that, he once again made his return to the WWE at WrestleMania 38.
Thus, it can be understood that Rollins has been a part of WWE since he joined the largest wrestling promotion in the world. On the other hand, Rhodes previously left the company and, after a long gap, made his return to the promotion. However, following his return, The American Nightmare gained immense popularity among the fans.
Both Rollins and Rhodes are part of the RAW brand division and are featured as babyfaces. In fact, he is the World Heavyweight Champion of the red brand of WWE. However, it seems Cody is more popular among the fans than The Visionary. Thus, it can be clearly stated that The American Nightmare has stolen Seth’s spotlight.
Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion, and he deserves to be at the top, but that is surely not the case. With that, Rollins might turn on Rhodes at the upcoming Premium Live Event for stealing his spotlight. If that happens, it is to be seen what Cody’s response will be.
Losing to Drew McIntyre might make Seth Rollins furious
Seth Rollins might not turn on Cody Rhodes on Night 1 of the Premium Live Event. Instead, he might turn on The American Nightmare on Night 2. To state it more simply, Rollins might not turn on Rhodes during the tag team match against The Bloodline on Night 1.
With that, on Night 2, Rollins will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. It might very well happen that The Visionary loses his title to McIntyre, and if that happens, he might snap.

Seth might become furious over the fact that Rhodes didn’t come to his aid during his title match; thus, he might appear during Cody’s match against Roman and thus cost him the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match.
If that happens, then the WWE Universe might get to witness Rollins’ heel turn. Also, it will indicate a future feud between Cody and Seth. However, only time will tell what will happen during the main event matches on Night 1 and Night 2.
