WWE SmackDown on May 10, 2024, kicked off with Nick Aldis calling out Rhodes. He then mentioned that Cody’s next challenger has been determined. With that, he called out Logan Paul.
Paul then proposes to Cody Rhodes a Champion vs. Champion match in the main event of the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Tournament. Logan then goes on to brag about himself. This hyped up the fans who began chanting “Logan Sucks” and “Prime Sucks.”

Paul then promised to defeat Rhodes at the upcoming Premium Live Event. To this end, Rhodes stated that if he wins the United States Championship at the event, then he will become a Grand Slam Champion. Cody then took shots at Paul and stated that he would see him at the upcoming Premium Live Event. With that, both Rhodes and Logan held their belts high. It was a great promo delivered by Paul and Cody.
Another noteworthy moment took place during Naomi’s match against Nia Jax. The match was a top-notch one, and the fans thoroughly enjoyed it. Meanwhile, during the match, Naomi was trying to climb the ropes as Nia came with a headbutt. She then attempted a powerbomb, but Naomi tactfully countered it with a super rana. That was an absolutely unbelievable moment.

Another best moment of the night was Randy Orton addressing Tama Tonga during his interview with Byron Saxton. The Viper mentioned that Tonga and the rest of The Bloodline took out his friend Kevin Owens. He then promised that he would take revenge and would RKO Tama Tonga. That was extremely exciting.
While talking about the best moments from the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the backstage interaction between Paul Heyman and The Bloodline was pretty impressive. During SmackDown, Tanga Loa, Solo Sikoa, and Tama Tonga were spotted backstage. During that, Heyman came and expressed his wish to talk alone with Sikoa.

Thereafter, Sikoa blamed Heyman for pulling out Roman Reigns from the 2024 WWE Draft. Sikoa then asked Paul whether he had spoken to Reigns or not. While Paul revealed he hadn’t, Solo mentioned that he had. Sikoa then stated that Roman had put him in charge of The Bloodline.
He also added that going forward, Heyman will act as Solo’s Wiseman. This not only shocked Heyman but also surprised the entire pro wrestling community. Also, the main event of the night, which featured a match between Randy Orton and AJ Styles, was an absolute banger.
Worst moments from the latest episode of SmackDown
While the latest episode of SmackDown had some of the best moments, it also featured some of the worst moments. One of the worst moments of the night was the match between Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae. The match began with LeRae attacking Belair immediately, and on the other hand, Indi Hartwell tried to cheat.
Though Bianca kept overcoming the attacks, they kept annoying her. Soon, the fans began vouching for Belair. Bianca then nailed a fallaway Slam on Candice and followed it with a KOD for the win. Thus, it can be understood that the match was short, underwhelming, and failed to elicit much reaction from the fans.

Another worst moment of the night was Solo Sikoa attacking Angelo Dawkins. During the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a match was scheduled between Tama Tonga and Angelo Dawkins. With that, the outcome of the match saw Tonga defeating Dawkins with help from Sikoa and Loa.
Meanwhile, after the match, Solo picked up Dawkins and nailed a massive Samoan spike on him. Thus, not only was the match boring, but the attack on Dawkins was also quite unnecessary. Finally, another worst moment witnessed by fans in the latest episode of SmackDown was the match between Baron Corbin and Carmelo Hayes.

Just like the match between Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae, this match was also underwhelming and boring. The match began with Hayes having the advantage over Corbin. Meanwhile, the fans kept chanting Baron’s name. However, Hayes soon nailed the inside cradle for a quick win over Corbin.
