The 37th annual WWE Royal Rumble concluded on January 27, 2024. And fans now know 2 wrestlers who are confirmed for this year’s Wrestlemania. But apart from the exhilarating moves and matchups we saw during the event, there were other moments which has got everyone talking.
One such moment occurred in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Bayley went on to win this Rumble match in the end but there was something else that everyone couldn’t stop talking about. Jordynne Grace’s cameo appearance was just what the women’s Royal Rumble needed to add that extra bit of spice.
And the cameo lived up to what was expected of it. For those who do not know, Patricia Gresham, better known by her in-ring name, Jordynne Grace, is an American professional wrestler, bodybuilder, and powerlifter. She currently competes in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). She’s currently in her third reign as the TNA Knockouts World Champion.

She entered the ring as #5 in the Royal Rumble and started dominating everyone in the ring. Showing off her impressive strength and agility inside the ring. Along the way, Jordynne successfully captivated the WWE audience around the world. She was eliminated by Bianca Belair but had already left the WWE fans wanting more.

The Jordynne Grace hype train does not stop at just her Royal Rumble cameo though. Soon after having a memorable debut in the Royal Rumble, Jordynne took to X and made fans even more intrigued. If Jordynne’s well-toned muscles had not made fans eager with excitement, her recent tweet sure would have.

Jordynne tweeted, “Thank you, @WWE Universe. This won’t be the last you’ll see of @ThisIsTNA“. This possible teaser of what’s to come out of the TNA roster has sent fans into a frenzy. Moreover many have started expecting Jordynne to sign with WWE and can’t wait to see her back in action for the organization.

What does Jordynne’s appearance mean for WWE and TNA?
Following Jordynne Grace’s appearance in the Royal Rumble the door for speculation has been blown wide open. Fans can’t stop speculating about a future WWE and TNA crossover. She became only with second wrestler after Mickie James, who did it in 2022, to enter the Royal Rumble while being signed with TNA.
According to many reports across the Internet, WWE had contacted various different professional wrestling organizations to lend them their wrestlers in events such as the Royal Rumble. Recently, one such organization the WWE contacted was TNA and as per reports they happily obliged.
It’s all a waiting game now to see if WWE and TNA’s deal over Jordynne Grace is extended over to bigger collaborations with one another. Fans would certainly hope so. In other news, Triple H, the Chief Content Officer at WWE addressed what he thought about TNA lending their champion Jordynne in a press release.
While talking about the performance of women fighters in the Rumble he stated, “Jordynne Grace coming here from TNA, their champion. I wanna thank them for allowing her to be here and participate in the Royal Rumble. I thought she had a spectacular showing tonight.” He further went on to say, “I’m not gonna use all the cliched terms about what door people go through cuz it’s stupid and silly.”
He later pointed out how happy he was for her by praising her and saying, “But partnerships and opportunities like this come along for some people once in a lifetime.
