Was Dwayne Johnson Cheating On His Ex-wife Dany Garcia Became the Reason Behind Their Divorce?

Apart from being a Hollywood icon, Dwayne Johnson is known as a quite jovial human being. Before stepping outside of WWE and entering the cinematic world on a full-time basis, he was married to Dany Garcia. The duo met in Miami during their college days and eventually tied the knot in 1997. After nearly 10 years, they publicly announced their divorce. Meanwhile, the pair gave birth to a daughter named Simone Johnson, who’s a current WWE NXT superstar.

However, what’s intriguing enough to discuss is why Johnson and Garcia separated in the first place. Before getting into an official statement from The Brahma Bull about the same, let’s get some context. According to some serious allegations from actress and model Robbin Young, the legendary WWE figure started interacting with her around 2004. Clarifying the air in a tweet, Young wasn’t aware of Johnson’s marital status back then. 

Also, in a now-deleted tweet from 2019, The Fall Guy actress extended her gratitude towards the newly married pair of Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian. Even though Young tweeted out stuff in a non-explosive manner, it clearly mentioned a gnarly dig at the Black Adam star. The former subtly lashed out at the latter for adultering her years ago while the Attitude Era cornerstone was married to Danny Garcia. 

A Twitter user even asked Young whether she’s seemingly upset over Dwayne’s choice not to stay with her for long. The actress replied by saying how the Seven Bucks owner befooled her by keeping his marriage a secret. Due to that, Robbin Young even called the Jumanji star, “a lousy f*ck”. Now, even after such heinous remarks, neither Johnson nor Garcia ever responded back to Young.

As mentioned in the tweet below, Dwayne Johnson allegedly committed an act of adultery while married. Interestingly enough, all this started back in 2004, just three years before Johnson separated from Garcia. What changed during that phase isn’t in public records and probably will remain a secret until either one of them decides to unveil it. However, there might’ve been something really personal between Dwayne and his current strategic advisor.

Clearly upset over how the Fast & Furious star treated her in the past, Young finally imploded about 15 years later through Twitter, calling out Dwayne as having a “sexual fetish”. At present, the Great One is happily married and has two adorable daughters from his second marriage.

He never got away from Garcia through an ugly divorce stating they’re great friends and he always wanted to accomplish huge things with her. That pretty much explains why they’re currently the co-owners of XFL. 

Now, immediately after completing their divorce, Dwayne entered a phase of depression. He had a pretty young daughter to take care of as a single father. Revealing his mental sufferings during an interview with Rolling Stone, “Around 2008, 2009, I was going through a lot of personal s— that was really f—– me up,” he said. “I was just struggling, man. Struggling to figure out what kind of dad am I gonna be. Realizing I’d done a piss-poor job of cultivating relationships, and a lot of my friends had fallen by the wayside. I was just scared,” he said. 

However, at that juncture of his life, the son of Rocky Johnson bet on himself to become a professionally successful man. Once he entered Hollywood, the 51-year-old kicked doors and smashed windows. Today, his first daughter, Simone, has already made it to the WWE. She’s ready to carry her father’s legacy in wrestling and would love to follow in his footsteps, establishing her unique identity.
