Brock Lesnar was spotted for the first time since leaving WWE earlier this year. The recent appearance from the Beast Incarnate has fans hoping that he might return to the WWE ring in the near future.
Lesnar is currently on a hiatus from WWE television. Prior to that, he was involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes. Not to mention, the feud resulted in Rhodes and Lesnar facing each other at Backlash 2023, Night of Champions 2023, and SummerSlam 2023.
At Backlash, Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar. Thereafter, Brock defeated Cody at the Night of Champions. And finally, at SummerSlam Rhodes once again defeated Lesnar to end their feud once and for all. Meanwhile, The Beast Incarnate hasn’t appeared on WWE television since the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
Why is Brock Lesnar missing from WWE?
Previously, a former WWE employee named Janel Grant filed a s*x trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. Not to mention, this lawsuit also involved accusations against WWE executive John Laurinaitis and WWE superstar Brock Lesnar. Due to that, several creative plans involving Lesnar were scrapped, and he remained away from the Stamford-based promotion.
Amidst all this, Brock Lesnar was recently seen at his son’s hockey game. This is the first time Brock got spotted during his ongoing WWE hiatus. It is worth mentioning that the Beast Incarnate looked a bit different during his latest appearance. He looked very serious and was seen wearing glasses. With that, it is to be seen if more updates on Lesnar’s recent appearance will come into the spotlight going forward.
WWE fans react to Brock Lesnar’s latest appearance
The picture of Brock Lesnar attending his son’s hockey game soon went viral. This immediately caught the attention of the fans. With that, several fans took to their ‘X’ handles to share their thoughts on the matter. One fan wrote, “Bro is looking like a College professor”.
Different fans reacted differently to Lesnar’s appearance. Some of the fans addressed WWE and asked the Stamford-based promotion to bring Lesnar back. One fan wrote, “BRING BACK BROCK, WWE!!! WE WANT BROCK!!!” On the other hand, some of the fans seemed confident that The Beast Incarnate might make his return at SummerSlam 2024. One fan stated, “Summerslam return confirmed omg”.
Thus, it seems the fans are hopeful for Lesnar’s return to WWE. Also, they want their favorite superstar to return to the Stamford-based promotion sooner rather than later.
Latest update on Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE
Previously, it was reported that Brock Lesnar was supposed to make his return to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble. However, as a result of Janel Grant’s lawsuit, The Beast Incarnate was removed from the PLE. Also, he was reported to have a match at WrestleMania 40. However, the plans fell through as a result of the lawsuit.
Since then, fans have been waiting eagerly for the return of Lesnar to WWE. Meanwhile, an update on his return has come into the spotlight. Dave Meltzer recently reported on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that Brock is yet to be cleared by WWE’s legal team.
According to Meltzer, unless Lesnar is cleared, his return to WWE television won’t happen. Thus, there might still be some time before fans get to witness The Beast Incarnate inside the squared circle. Whatever the case may be, fans will look forward to more updates about him in the upcoming days.
