Although the growing popularity of Formula 1 has brought a lot of celebrities into the paddock, many didn’t know they would see the iconic pop singer, Rihanna walking down the paddock on their bingo card. The singer who has made songs like “Umbrella”, “Diamond” and many more have recently gone on a hiatus from her music releases.
Nonetheless, this did not stop the artist from joining the Las Vegas GP and celebrating the first-ever Las Vegas F1 outing. While many were aware of the popularity Vegas garnered this season after its addition to the calendar, the event did not go as planned during the FP1 and FP2 sessions resulting in many fans walking out of the area.
However, Vegas gave the fans just what they needed to fuel back their excitement for the first Saturday night race this season. Rihanna walked down the paddock greeting all the fans with her beau and rapper, A$AP Rocky. The two artists made an appearance together, however, this has not been the first time that celebrities have swarmed the F1 paddock.

Rihanna and Rocky, however, made an appearance to support the PUMA X A$AP Rocky pop-up opened at the Las Vegas circuit. The Fenty Beauty owner, Rihanna’s beau recently signed with Formula 1 as a creative director for the designing of merch and racesuits.
In order to promote his new position in F1, the PUMA team collaborated with A$AP Rocky while “Ri Ri” joined in to show support for the rapper.

With the Las Vegas GP starting in full excitement, the fans did not see what they really wanted as the FP1 sessions approached. Carlos Sainz borrowed Leclerc’s bad luck just once this season, as he dragged a drain lid with him causing the sessions to delay. This saw F1 have the first-ever session with no spectators cheering or watching the scene.

Although the start of the Vegas outing did not equal the hype that surrounded it, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky came along to save the day. As Vegas completely prepares for their qualification sessions, the hitmaker of “We Found Love” joined the paddock alongside her beau and rapper, Rocky.

The two artists made their way to the PUMA X A$AP Rocky pop-up to show support for the new collaboration and Rocky’s new position in the Formula 1 X PUMA collaboration. The rapper was called in to take an important position in the project based on his incredible fashion sense that could compete with that of Lewis Hamilton.
Rihanna took pictures with the fans and watched the pop-up as the models dressed in the PUMA X Rocky collection and modeled in a garage setup. Fans can now check out the pop-up too and get themselves merch to take as a souvenir of the Las Vegas GP.
