Many NBA fans should have heard of Udonis Haslem. After all, he is the oldest player in the entire league and is expected to retire after the end of this NBA season. Haslem might not have been one of the best players in league history. Nonetheless, he has managed to stick around for longer than most players can hope for.
Some of us might be interested in knowing what Haslem has done off the court. Especially in the world of personal life and family. With that being said, let us take a closer look at his relationship with his wife Faith Rein, and more about their family together.
Udonis Haslem has 3 children with Faith Rein
It turns out that Haslem is one of the many players who grew from young boys into adults while playing in the league. His NBA career had somewhat of a shaky start as he went undrafted in the 2002 Draft. Therefore, he decided to play overseas that year in France However, he was given an opportunity to play with the Miami Heat for the 2003-2004 season.
UD did not disappoint and averaged 7.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in his first year. He got increasingly better over time as a big man and averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds during his best year with the Heat.
Haslem is one of the few NBA players who has spent his entire NBA career with a single team, the Miami Heat. He started playing for them when he was 23 years old and is ending his career there at 42 years of age. It is quite an impressive feat and deserves due credit. It also speaks to the loyalty he has shown.
Coming back to his family, where loyalty is an important trait, Udonis met Faith Rein when attending the University of Florida, she was a track and field athlete at the time. They dated for 14 years and finally got married on 24 August 2013. The couple has three sons together named Kedonis, Elijah, and Josiah Haslem. That ol geezer Udonis Haslem should’ve been retired and at home with his wife and kids 5 years ago but kudos to a great career, Miami Heat legend

Udonis has proven to be a good teammate and an important voice in the locker room for the Miami Heat. We are sure that he will continue to be a reliable provider for his family. Since we know how the NBA season separates players from their families for most of the year, we are sure he will be eager to spend more time with them now that his career has come to an end.
