Recently, the team has signed a partnership deal with Sire Spirits. It’s a firm owned by Emmy Award-winning star Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
As per the deal, Branson Cognac of Sire Spirits will become the official Cognac of the Washington Commanders. Along with that, the Le Chemin Du Roi will be the official champagne of the team. Jason Wright, the president of the Commanders recently expressed his excitement for the new partnership with 50 Cent.

The G-Unit rapper’s foundation will collaborate with the charity of the Washington Commanders. The information on the team’s earnings is not yet available. However, Curtis Jackson mentioned his happiness with his brand’s growth in the NFL.
“I’m excited that Sire Spirits is growing its presence in the NFL by partnering with the Washington Commanders,” he said.
The Commanders and Jackson are both excited to make the best out of this new partnership. Along with that, the NFL team must be looking forward to delivering excellent performance this season.
Washington Commanders were sold for an NFL record amount
The Washington Commanders have recently got a new owner in billionaire Josh Harris. In July this year, the NFL owners approved the sale of the team to Harris. Before him, Dan Synder was the owner of the team who bought it for $800 million in 1999. Throughout his ownership, he faced numerous scandals, and now Harris owns the 3-time Super Bowl champion team.
The Harris group has reportedly purchased the Washington Commanders for a massive $6.05 billion. According to reports, this is the most expensive purchase in NFL history till now. Before this, Rob Walton of Walmart was at the top, who purchased the Denver Broncos for $4.6 billion in 2022. After becoming the new owner, Josh Harris expressed his happiness.
“I feel an awesome responsibility to the city of Washington… I know what I’ve got to do. It comes down to winning. It’s on me and on our ownership group to deliver. That’s what we’re going to do,” he said.
Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner also expressed his happiness on Harris joining the NFL. He mentioned that Harris is a “great addition” to the league. As per reports, Harris was born and brought up in Washington DC, and that’s why the team is special for him.
Along with the Washington Commanders, Harris owns the NBA‘s New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers. Now, it’ll be worth watching how his ownership impacts the team this season.
