That wasn’t all, as popular fighters such as Adrian Yanez, Abus Magomedov, and Angela Hill also took part in the event. Themba Gorimbo also made his UFC return on the card against Ramiz Brahimaj. For those who are unaware, Gorimbo came to the spotlight when Hollywood megastar and WWE legend Dwayne Johnson bought a house for him after coming across the stories of the fighter’s struggles. So how did the event go? Let’s find out!
UFC Vegas 92: Result
Luana Pinheiro vs. Angela Hill (Women’s Strawweight): Angela Hill was on a good run coming into this contest. She won 3 of her last four bouts and the only loss in that period came against Mackenzie Dern. At the age of 39, it is impressive to see what she is doing!

She landed 28 significant strikes and 39 total strikes against Luana, who only managed 25 total strikes. In terms of takedowns, Hill secured two takedowns and finally ended the contest via submission at the 4:12 minute mark of the second round.
Adrian Yanez vs. Vinicius Salvador (Bantamweight): Adrian Yanez was touted to be the next best thing in the Bantamweight division at one point in time. However, the TKO losses to Rob Font and Jonathan Martinez pretty much derailed that hype. After the loss to Martinez in October 2023, Yanez took an 8-month break and finally made his return at UFC Vegas 92.

Themba Gorimbo vs. Ramiz Brahimaj (Welterweight): Themba Gorimbo, who has been in the spotlight for quite some time, shined brightly at UFC Vegas 92. After winning both of his last two bouts against Takashi Sato and Pete Rodriguez, Gorimbo took on Ramiz Brahimaj. Themba continued his winning streak as he defeated Ramiz via a unanimous decision.

Khaos Williams vs. Carlston Harris (Welterweight): In the co-main event of the evening, rising welterweight prospect Khaos Williams took on Carlston Harris. His UFC record stood at 5-2 ahead of his UFC Vegas 92 showdown against Carlston Harris. Harris, on the other hand, was also coming off wins against Jeremiah Wells and Jared Gooden.

However, even before the fight heated up, Khaos Williams landed the killer blow and ended the bout at the 1:30-minute mark of the first round itself. The win perfectly sets up the path for Khaos to make a play for the rankings and secure a big-name fighter as his next opponent.
Edson Barboza vs, Lerone Murphy (Featherweight): It is astonishing that Edson Barboza is still going strong at the age of 38. After a spectacular run at lightweight, Barboza moved down to featherweight and has rediscovered himself. Since the move to 145lbs, Edson has defeated stars like Sodiq Yusuff, Billy Quarantillo, Shane Burgos, and Makwan Amirkhani. The bout against Lerone Murphy was his 30th bout inside the Octagon since making his debut in 2010.

However, it was not his best performance in the UFC. The bout went all 25 minutes and the judges scored it 49-46, 50-45, and 50-45 for the man from Manchester, England. It was a deserved victory as he utterly dominated Barboza. Murphy landed 146 strikes in total and 123 significant strikes. The Brazilian fighter, on the other hand, landed only 53 strikes. It looks like the undefeated man from England is set to achieve big things in the UFC.
