Turner Tenney, popularly known as Tfue, is a well-known American YouTuber, eSports player, and internet streamer who is best known for playing Fortnite. He used to stream video games like Call of Duty, Destiny, and H1Z1, but he switched to Fortnite Battle Royale since it was becoming more and more popular. The internet celebrity and streamer from America is worth $9 million.
Tenney’s career has been surrounded by controversies. He was given a 30-day Twitch ban in May 2018 for reportedly using the word “coon” during one of his streams. After verifying that the word wasn’t used in a racist way, Twitch reduced the restriction to 7 days.
Due to allegations that he was purchasing and selling Epic Games accounts, Tenney’s Epic accounts were permanently banned on July 2, 2018. Tenney was once more banned from Twitch a week later, this time for a period of 14 days, for unidentified reasons.

On June 20, 2023, Tenney released a 40-minute video reflecting on his career as a content creator, announcing his departure from streaming. The video states that Tunney has been a Twitch streaming partner for eight years, having made his YouTube debut in 2007.
He announced this after almost 2 months of internet absence. In a heartfelt letter to his supporters, he stated, “I just need to go live my life.”
Tfue joins Kick
Since the first week of Fortnite OG, rumors about the name of the legendary player have circulated. Guy ‘DrDisrespect’ Beahm, a fellow streamer, hinted at a Tfue broadcast, but it was eventually canceled. Since then, Tfue’s comeback has been often hinted about by Kick streamer and co-founder Trainwrecks.
On November 19, 2023, Tfue fans got a piece of good news. In a video posted on YouTube, Tenney announced his comeback to streaming. After a five-month hiatus, Turner has announced that he will be streaming for Kick, Twitch’s competitor platform. This news has been well received by many of his fans, who have been speculating about his return and potential contract signing with a platform other than Twitch.

Featuring Tfue rising from a sandy grave on the beach, the video made fun of his temporary retirement. He then dives through the famous window he jumped out of after qualifying for the Fortnite World Cup, puts on a Kick hat, and declares that he’s back.

Over the last several months, Kick has added Ninja, NICKMERCS, xQc, and Adin Ross to their roster of talented individuals. But xQc and a lot of other Kick streamers aren’t limited to just one platform. They can stream on multiple platforms according to their contracts.
Now, it’s unclear what Tfue’s Kick deal would entail after his return. Although Tfue concluded his Twitch contract amicably, it’s important to note that Ninja and Clapzy recently disclosed that Tfue was required by contract to stream 200 hours each month.
