A dark day for the city of Kansas as their celebrations quickly turned into a tragic event. On the Valentine’s Day, the NFL team Kansas City Chiefs threw a parade to celebrate it’s Super Bowl win in style. However, gunshots were heard during the event, claiming one fan’s life. And, it looks like Brittany Mahomes has had enough of it.

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and majority of the team’s superstars were present during the event. With them, was Brittany Mahomes who religiously attends all the Cheifs events thanks to her relationship with Patrick Mahomes. She was present at the spot ahead the shootings that rocked the Union Station. While none of the players were harmed, it certainly sent a shock wave down the NFL community.

NFL fans have shared a love-hate relationship with Brittany Mahomes. While she has entertained the fans with her relatable content over the years, Patrick Mahomes’ wife has been a topic of discussion for quite some time now. From her controversial celebrations, to seemingly lashing out at popular figures like Joe Rogan, Mahomes has made the headlines for the wrong reasons quite a few times.
Recently, she made her debut as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. While she received a ton of appreciation for her stunning shape and gorgeous looks, some fans also pushed back against her magazine photo-shoot as well. But, one thing that all fans can agree on, is a message against violence in the world. And, she has delivered exactly that after the tragic shootings.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she added, “Shooting people is never the answer… Praying for Kansas City & America in general, this is rough.”
As per latest reports, two armed men were apprehended for the shootings during the Kansas City Chiefs’ parades. As a result of the gunshots, 1 person lost their lives while 10 others were injured including children. As soon as the shootings broke out, police evacuated the area swiftly and apprehended the alleged gunmen. A viral clip also shows fans helping out in catching one of the alleged culprits as well.
In clips released by TMZ, graphic videos show the moment exactly when the gunshots went off. As fans were cheering for Patrick Mahomes, rapid gunshots went off in the crowd. You can watch the video here.
