However, in 2012, he re-signed with WWE. He then participated in several storylines and headlined numerous Premium Live Events. He also bagged many championships to his name. This includes winning the WWE Championship seven times, the WWE Universal Championship three times, and more.
Not to mention, Brock Lesnar is currently on a hiatus from WWE television. His last match took place at the 2023 SummerSlam Premium Live Event, where he lost to Cody Rhodes in a single match. With that, Lesnar took a break from WWE television.
Meanwhile, a former WWE employee named Janel Grant had filed a s*x trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. According to the lawsuit, Grant was abused and s*xually exploited by McMahon. Janel mentioned that Vince had made career advancement promises to her, and with that, he exploited her and trafficked her to other men inside WWE.
However, what is worth mentioning is that Janel Grant stated in the lawsuit that back in 2021, Vince McMahon asked her to make personalized s*xual content for a wrestler he was trying to re-sign. While the name of the WWE star was not mentioned, it was reported that he was both a UFC fighter and a WWE star. Later, the wrestler was identified as Brock Lesnar.

With that, several other horrific allegations were mentioned in the lawsuit against Lesnar. As a result of those allegations, plans involving Lesnar were changed going forward. Also, The Beast Incarnate continued to be on hiatus. However, as of now, it seems a current WWE star might emerge as the next Brock Lesnar. It is none other than Bron Breakker.
Bron Breakker showcased a noteworthy WWE run
Bronson Rechsteiner, aka Bron Breakker, is a popular name in the world of professional wrestling. However, besides being a professional wrestler, he is a former football player. Meanwhile, he is currently a part of the Stamford-based promotion, WWE.
In the largest wrestling promotion in the world, he thoroughly entertains the fans while performing in the RAW brand division. However, he was previously a part of the NXT brand division from 2021 to 2024. During that, he participated in several storylines and feuds. Also, he won the NXT Championship twice, the NXT Tag Team Championship once, and more.
With that, after his time in NXT, on February 16, 2024, it was reported that Bron Breakker was promoted to the SmackDown brand. Thereafter, he showcased his extraordinary in-ring skills on the blue brand. However, during the 2024 WWE Draft, Breakker was drafted to the RAW brand.
Thus, it can be understood that within a short period of time, Breakker has put forward a noteworthy WWE run. Also, it is to be noted that he is currently 26 years of age. Meanwhile, he has achieved a lot in the Stamford-based promotion. It might very well happen that when he reaches the age of Brock Lesnar, who is currently 46, he might have achieved more than The Beast Incarnate.
Bron Breakker previously replaced Brock Lesnar in a huge match
With an extraordinary run, Bron Breakker might soon emerge as WWE’s next Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, he previously replaced The Beast Incarnate in a huge match. According to reports, Lesnar was set to return and participate in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
However, owing to allegations brought by Janel Grant against Lesnar, McMahon, and others, it was decided to remove him from the Royal Rumble match. Thereafter, Bron Breakker replaced Lesnar in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
With that, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Bron had fulfilled the role given to Lesnar. He mentioned that Breakker appeared in the same spot that Lesnar was set to appear in the match. Also, Breakker eliminated wrestlers whom Lesnar was set to eliminate. In addition to that, he was eliminated in the same way that Brock was scheduled to be eliminated.

Meltzer also mentioned that WWE wanted Lesnar to look impressive during his return. So, they needed someone who could fulfill that, and they chose Breakker. He added that there were not a lot of wrestlers whom WWE considered giving Brock’s spot in the match.
Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that Bron Breakker appeared at number 20 during the men’s Royal Rumble match. Also, he scored four eliminations before being eliminated by Dominik Mysterio. However, it seems that WWE saw such huge potential in Breakker that they gave Lesnar’s spot to him. Not to mention, he played his role well and impressed the fans throughout the match.
Brock Lesnar’s absence might be the perfect opportunity for Bron Breakker to fill in his shoes
Brock Lesnar has not made an appearance on WWE television since SummerSlam last year. Meanwhile, several Premium Live Events such as Royal Rumble 2024, Elimination Chamber 2024, WrestleMania 40, Backlash 2024, and others, have taken place. With that, it remains uncertain when The Beast Incarnate will make his return to the Stamford-based promotion.
Meanwhile, his ongoing absence might be the perfect opportunity for Bron Breakker to fill in his shoes. This is because there are very few wrestlers in WWE who closely match the physique of Lesnar, and Breakker might be one of them. While Brock is currently absent from WWE television, Bron could take his place to dominate the squared circle.
On the other hand, he might replace Lesnar in other storylines that were initially planned for The Beast Incarnate. Since the Stamford-based promotion previously considered him a replacement for Lesnar, they might once again give him a chance to fill Brock’s shoes. This will not only provide Breakker with a new storyline, but it will also help him increase his popularity among the fans.
Moreover, if Lesnar returns to the Stamford-based promotion, then Breakker won’t be able to take his place. This is because there will always be a fear that Lesnar’s presence might outshine Bron’s presence. However, Breakker has both the looks and the abilities with which he might someday emerge as WWE’s next Brock Lesnar or possibly surpass The Beast Incarnate.
