Dominick Reyes is facing Rayan Spann in the prelims of UFC 281 on November 12. The UFC bringing back the promotions to the Madison Square Gardens, “The Devastator” will be fighting Ryan “Superman” Spann in the light heavyweight bout. The former title challenger is currently ranked No. 7 in the lightweight division where Spann is five spots behind him. With a convincing victory this Saturday, these two competitors want to climb into the top half of the division.
Rayan Spann is coming to UFC 281 after a very significant win over Ion Cutelaba via submission. Whereas Dominick Reyes suffered a brutal knockout loss to the current UFC heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka in May 2021.
Dominick Reyes is 6’4″ (193 cm) tall and has a 77-inch reach. At UFC Vegas 25, he weighed in at 205.5 pounds against the reigning champion Jiri Procházka. At 6’5″ (196 cm), Ryan Spann is an inch taller than Reyes and possesses an 81.5-inch reach. Spann currently has one of the best reach advantages in UFC. 206 pounds were his most recent weight over Ion Cutelaba.
But ahead of the fight, Reyes is very confident in his skills better than ever before. He says “skill wise, I’m Dom 2.0”.
Dominick Reyes has never been the same since he fought the light heavyweight GOAT, Jon Jones. After his loss against the lightweight champion, Reyes has suffered back-to-back losses. Two of them were brutal knockout losses. These are the first three losses in his career.
He has been working out for this camp with main event fighter Alex Pereira and UFC legend Glover Texeira after taking more than a year off from fighting. This Reyes, who is just reaching his prime, will be fresh and better.

Dominick Reyes vs Rayan Spann prediction
It will be one of the toughest predictions to pick from the two. Reyes has been out of the octagon for a long time. Where “Superman” has been on a roll and has that winning momentum with him. Despite the fact that Reyes has fought in more UFC fights overall, Spann enters the battle with 12 more fights under his belt.
However, Dominick Reyes is the favorite coming to the fight with spann. Reyes has experience fighting killers like Jon Jones, Jan Blachowicz, and Jiri Procházka. And with an experience like that Reyes should be able to finish Spann.
