With back to back first-round knockout wins, Costa will look to make a name for himself in the UFC Bantamweight division with an equally impressive performance in his next fight. However, he was seen as an underdog going into the fight. Randy Costa’s win was quite similar to Donald Cerrone as he timed his kick perfectly after throwing a straight right hand. Paul Felder was once again caught on the reaction camera, reacting to the devastating KO win. The loss marked Journey Newson’s first stoppage loss of his MMA career. In the seven times that Randy Costa has stepped inside the octagon, he has raked in six first-round stoppage victories, having lost only once against Brandon Davis back in April of 2019.
